I had been looking forward to this family session for a while. Letha is a dear friend from MOPS and I took her younger daughter’s newborn pictures what it seems like ages ago. Everything was planned and we were ready to meet. We got the the spot and the light was good. When we were about to start we had some technical problems (camera problems that were solved very quickly) and we had to drive to a new spot. Well I’m so glad we did. It turned out the be a perfect afternoon for a family session in The Woodlands. The light Gods were with us and it was magic. It was so fun to see how the girls had grown and how beautiful they were. It’s always fun reconnecting with old friends.
The girls had so much fun running around and playing. That made it easy to capture their beautiful smiles. It was not like we were having a family session it was more like we were hanging out and I had my camera with me. That’s my favorite kind of session. So relaxed and happy to be there that we don’t even notice time going by. It was a perfect afternoon. I could not have asked for a better session with better light! My heaven!
Letha and her husband were on point too. If I asked them to play with their kids they did. When I asked them to kiss they did. And if I asked them to hug their babies they hug with so much love that I came pouring out in the pictures. I am truly happy how this session went. It really was a perfect afternoon in The Woodlands for a family session.
What a great time we had! I can’t wait until I see them again and I get to capture the next step in their life!
