This past Saturday I had a Woodlands Teen Session. I met with these guys at the local park and we had a quick session. They each had individual pictures taken and then we took some of them together. They were so good and on point! I had such a great time with them and they made me laugh the whole time we were together. We even had a little problem with someone ripping their shirt while we were trying to get a shot (their idea not mine).
How to plan for your session
It is ideal if you talk to your photographer before your session (or text). I like to see what clients have in mind for their photos and what they want to do with their pictures. I ask them what colors they think they would like to work with. What type of location; urban, trees, green open areas? Once we have come up with a location and the colors I send can send them examples of outfits and some ideas for different locations. Sometimes the strangest places can be the coolest locations.
Once I have given clients their ideas on what to wear the clients can start building their outfits. It might be time to go shopping or pulling things from the closet. I love getting texts of pictures of what clients have picked and we can edit the selection. Then we are DONE and ready for the big day. That is how to plan for your session.
For this Woodlands teen session they wanted to look casual and cool. I wanted them to look like themselves. I wanted to capture them as they are right now. In years to come their moms can look back and remember what they were like as teens. Keeping memories alive!
These guys brought their A game and it shows! The Woodlands teen session success!
