Woodlands senior in the forest session was great fun. When I spoke with mom about what she had envisioned for her son she said he really enjoys the outdoors. He is always exploring places. What better place for his session than Jones Forest. Since seniors are busy we decided to meet in the morning. When I say morning I mean early, like sunrise early. Getting a teen up that early is a challenge! But mom and dad did it!!! I was very impressed. They not only showed up but they showed up happy and ready to get some pictures taken. While I was getting my camera ready I noticed dad taking a picture with his cell phone and I had to snap a quick photo.
We started an the entrance of the woods and made our way to the back. At first Jake was shy and sweet. Soon after we started we we laughing so hard. We got along great. This is one of the reasons I love shooting Senior sessions. Seniors remind me of the fun I had when I was in high school. They make me feel young again! Any time anyone can make me feel young again they are welcomed in my world.
Mom wanted some pictures in his cap and gown. We tried the traditional look where he is formal and serious. We also tried some were he is being silly and just having fun. I like the ones where he is being silly and having fun! He had us all in stiches.
At the very end of the session we were walking out and he saw a small creek. Without hesitation he jumped in and went to check it out. I had already packed the camera away but I had to get it out and capture how happy he was exploring in the woods. Oh and I will let you guess where he is attending school…
