Family Session in The Woodlands

It has been a long time since I blogged.  The busy season and life just got to busy for me to keep up with the blog.  It is a shame that I haven’t been able to blog because I had some of the most amazing sessions.  It was the season of the family session in The Woodlands.  I photographed all kinds of families.  Blended families, and families with babies.  Families with teens and families with tweens.   It was a little bit of everything and it was great!

Today I want to tell you about this sweet family.  The little boys are Cohen’s best friend and their mom is a close friend of mine.  My favorite thing about this session was that this family had not had pictures taken.  It is always extra fun when I can give them photographs of their family for the first time.  We planned the session for what feels like a long time.  Caty knew she wanted the color scheme to be neutral.  She “shopped” her closets for the clothes and then purchased a couple of things to finish the look.  She texted me photos of the clothes and we edited until we were both happy.  And oh boy did it work!  They looked amazing!

Little Mr. A was just the cutest little boy EVER!!!  He brought his stuffed bunny to the session and I just couldn’t take the cuteness.  Someone might have asked him to leave the bunny out for the photos.  I HAD to include the bunny in the session.  It’s who Mr. Aaron is and should be recorded for his mom to look back and remember him as he is now.  Aaron’s two older brothers are a bit more shy than he is.  I had to work a little harder to get them to smile but I have my tricks (potty words work wonders with boys; or is that just my boys?)

Next I am making sure these pictures get printed and hung in her house!  Pictures are meant to be printed and enjoyed not sit in the your computer.  It is great when you share them on Facebook (I specially like it if I get tagged LOL) but when you print them you will enjoy that much more.
