This College Park High School senior session in The Woodlands was pure joy. While I mostly shoot boys (maybe it’s because I am a boy mom) I love shooting girls. I have known this girl for so many years and she has turned into the best young woman ever! She is beautiful inside and OUT! I was blown away by her natural beauty. She was a natural in front of the camera.
We had to reschedule her session a couple of times due to weather. We either had rain or too windy. I wanted it to be perfect weather. Also, we couldn’t shoot if it was too windy because look at that hair! It’s so long that if it was windy at all it would be all over the place. I don’t think any amount of Photoshop could fix that.
I am so glad we waited. The weather was amazing and the light came out to play. I couldn’t ask for anything more! At one point we had a little wind but we hid from it and it was just fine.
Phoebe brought her own style to the session and it showed. Her personality shined in every photo we captured. She is artsy and airy. Feminine and unique. Her smile was contagious and we had a blast together. Her mom (my friend) was so much help. She kept the fly aways in control and she carried all the outfits. Always a plus to have an assistant.
Another look that she had was a little more preppy. Half way through her senior session in The Woodlands she wore her letterman jacket. I think she did this more for mom than for herself. But that the beauty of a senior session, there is room for a little bit of everything to make everyone happy.
