This session was a little different then most of my sessions. I did a southern boy senior session. Most of the guys I shoot are pretty preppy so it was a fun change to shoot a “cowboy”. Dawson came in and his personality shinned. That is exactly what I want with my clients. I do not want my clients to come to their sessions and feel like they are in a costume. BE YOU AND SHINE!
Dawson and his mom had a definite idea of what look they wanted for his images. He wanted somewhere woodsy and rustic. It is not hard to find a place like that around The Woodlands, TX. We went to a local forest and shot his session. He kept his hat on for most of the session and that was okay with mom so I didn’t push him to take it off. He is a hat guy!
Here is a picture in black and white and I just love how dramatic it makes it look. I don’t always convert my images to black and white. They almost have to speak to me and this one said, “I need to be black and white!”
