Hanging In with My Family

During these times of uncertainty I am hanging in with my family. Photography is my work and my business but it is also my most loved pass time. I really wish I could be photographing my sweet families and seniors right now.

Hanging in with my family

After much thought and prayer I have decided to pause all sessions for the time being. I have contacted all my families and seniors and we WILL reschedule as soon as it is possible. As many of you already know, I am a very “in your face” photographer. I fix your hair, and move your hands, grab shoulders, etc so I can get the end result I envision. With the whole 6 feet, social distancing rules I would be the first one to break the rules. I hope you guys understand that it is for everyone’s safety that I came to this decision.

Yesterday I delivered the last gallery that I had pending. I am in love with the images from this Senior session. Hannah rocked the session and I had a blast taking her pictures. My last pre corona virus session was a dream and I can’t wait to take more pictures!! When I hit the send button I was a little sad. I want to keep editing and shooting sessions. I want to keep capturing memories.

What I decided to to is to relax and just enjoy the down time. I am not planning any big projects. My dreams are not to have everything on my to do list done by the end of this “social distancing” time. Instead, I am just hanging in with my family. I am taking time to look through OUR photos. We are playing games. A lot of movie are getting played (and I get to snuggle with my boys and my doggie). Time has slowed down and maybe that is exactly what I needed.
