When selecting outdoor senior pictures in Spring, TX I like to go places that will have different little areas. I think that having different areas in one location makes it fun to get different looks.
For guys I tend to not shoot as many field of flowers and those types of locations. I usually tend to go places that have a little nature but also some “hard surfaces”. Some brick, buildings, a bench, etc. All those give a lot of variety and a lot of bang for your buck.
We are lucky that a lot of areas in Spring, The Woodlands, and even downtown Houston meet those requirements. Sometimes the most unexpected places make for the the best locations. And selecting the best place for your session is something we can work at together!
For me part of the fun of photography is planning the session. The session should be a reflection of who the Senior is. It does not make sense to take a teen that loves the outdoors to get his pictures taken in Downtown Houston. You would want to plan his session maybe in a forest.
