My heart was so happy when I did this mother son session in The Woodlands. It is always extra special when I take pictures of a Senior that I have known since he/she was a baby. However, this session was special with a cherry on top. Mom decided to join her son during his senior session and take some photos with her baby.
When my husband and I moved up to The Woodlands because we had a baby Tammie and her husband, Pat, were some of the first people we met. They had a baby that was the same age as ours. We spent the afternoons letting the kids play at the park. We also took them to the local pool in the summer to have them play and cool off. Those days seem so far away but they live in my heart and make me so happy when I think of them.
Cut to many years later and the kids are all grown up and life has just been on fast foward. That is when I received a call to schedule a mother son session. I was thrilled!
Mother son sessions are very popular when the kids are little. Then they grow up and they become less popular. I think this is a mistake. We should take the time to take mother son pictures. They want to see us in the photos with them. They will become a cherished memory that everyone will love to look through. So my advice is TAKE PICTURES WITH YOUR KIDS! You will not regret it.
