Golden hour photography in The Woodlands is my favorite. Actually, it’s my favorite anywhere, not just The Woodlands. Specially if it’s for portrait photography. There is something so beautiful about that light that makes my heart happy.
When the sun is coming up or right before it goes down it’s called golden hour. I hunt for that perfect light like my eye sight depended on it. I have been know to reschedule a session if I think we are not going to have that pretty light. Call me picky but I want everyone to get those images with that light that makes you go WOOOOOW!
Golden hour photography in The Woodlands is a little extra special (at least for me it is) because we are surrounded by trees. Those trees filter the light and they make the background twinkle. It’s almost like nature’s own Christmas lights.
I always have people trying to schedule sessions at different times. And sometimes we have to shoot at a different time but if I had my choice GOLDEN HOUR would win every time. Even if I have to wake up super early to capture it.
The early golden hour is usually booked with families with young kids. The afternoon one is usually Seniors or families with older kids (specially those sleepy teens). Most teens are cranky in the morning and little kids and babies are cranky in the evening. I’m happy as long as I have my camera.
I know that you have to be ready for some warm, pretty, golden hour photography in The Woodlands. Send me a message and let’s capture your memories.
