Capturing The Woodlands family photography with older kids has become a new normal around here. I do not know if it is because I have older kids myself or if it is that my clients have been with me for a while and kids grow up. It’s probably a combination of the two.
Photographing older kids has quickly become a favorite of mine. When the kids are little we take the time to get family photos often. As the kids grow up and get busy it becomes harder to carve out the time to schedule family photos. Sports, homework, friends, all kinds of extra curricular activities take over our schedules and photos get in the back burner.
Then one day you notice that the kids are teens and that life if going by too quickly. That day is the day that you should contact me and schedule your family photos. There is no better time than today. I always tell my clients that if you wait too long the next time you will take photos is at their wedding! (A good friend of mine told me that and it rocked my world!!!!)
We live in such a wonderful place that it is not hard to find a beautiful location for The Woodlands family photography with older kids. You can be close to home and get wonderful photos of your kids. It doesn’t have to be a huge production. The Woodlands is surrounded by trees and gorgeous spots (even a set of stairs can be a great spot) to capture the memories with your kids.
One Perk of Family Photography with Older Kids
I always tell my families that even though sometimes teens can be moody, one of the perks is that you won’t be chasing kids around the location. Sometimes parents get so tired of wrangling kids around to get a photo taken (I can also help with that), with teens you won’t have to do that. It is my experience that even if teens can be moody they tend to not run away from their parents. You would be surprised that they actually don’t move much. LOL. The hardest part for parents when photographing older kids is getting everyone’s schedule figured out.
After that you can hand them to me and let me do my thing! Let’s do this. Let’s get your The Woodlands photography with older kids in the books!!!
