It is important to me, as a photographer, to deliver not your everyday senior photos. I want your session to reflect who you are. This session is all about YOU! And then I put my photography eye on you and we get magic. It is my goal to deliver photos that will stand the test of time. Ideally you will look back at them and remember who you were your senior year. I don’t want you to think, “what the heck did this photographer do to me?”
This is the motto for Maria Snider Photography. I run my small business to deliver images that will mean a lot to you right now. And your not everyday senior photos will become priceless as time goes by. I guess you could call it my mission statement.
Steps to achieving the best senior photos
- The very first step to accomplish unique photos and photos that scream YOU is to decide what session you want to book. Are you the quick and get it done kind of kid? Or are you the I want outfits, and different hair, maybe even a couple of locations? Whichever one you identify as there is a package for you.
- Second. Now you have your session selected and you have contacted me. We need to see what time of year you want to take your photos. Are you a summer baby, a cozy fall, winter special, or fresh new spring?
- Now third. You have the kind of session, the season, hopefully that date and now it’s time to plan the session. The planning is so fun for me. It can be either the same spots a I have been to or a new place that I have discovered. Maybe it’s even a spot that means something to you. Urban, country, forest, field. The choices are endless.
- Almost there. Fourth, the clothes. Depending on the package it could mean that you wear one outfit or two or three. I recommend that if you only have one outfit that you bring some accessories. A sweater or jacket, some sunglasses. Something that gives you a little variation and minimal effort. If you have more outfits I want you to think of doing different looks. You could do a casual look, then something more formal or fancy, and maybe something that is related to what you do in school. A sport or something. If you do one outfit with black, don’t do another black outfit. Pick something lighter, a different color, maybe a little texture. And as you put your outfits together you can text me and ask for my help.
The final touch!
We have planned and planned. You have primmed and primed; you are ready. Now the final touch is the session. The session is a perfect combo of your personality and vision, with my vision and eye. Together we managed to put something together that will be only for you. It will be magic!
