I think it’s easy to find 5 outdoor locations in The Woodlands for unforgettable senior photos. We are very fortunate to live in a great area. Also, sometimes the most random places can be magic.
There are some obvious spots that are popular with everyone and there are some that don’t look like much. Those are usually my favorites.
Best outdoor locations for Senior Sessions in The Woodlands
- The Woodlands Waterway. This is the most obvious place. Kids go here for homecoming and prom pictures. It’s pretty and easy to access. Photos here do not disappoint. And even though it is used all the time pictures here can be very beautiful and unique.
- Hughes Landing. Just down the street from the Waterway you can find Hughes Landing. I like this spot because there are a lot of different spots in a very small area. Sometimes it can be windy but we can use the wind in our favor.
- Rob Fleming Park in Creekside. Great pavillion and a pond with some steps close by. Sometimes I forget about this park and when I remember I am never disappointed.
- George Mitchell Nature Preserve is one of my favorites. I love going there. It is such a beautiful, natural area. And it changes with every season. Great spot for the senior looking for nature, water, a creek, sometimes wild flowers, and if we are lucky some tall grasses.
- The Market Street. Cute shops and little alleys, a great court yard equals a very special location for your senior photos.
From popular spots to wooded areas The Woodlands is a very picturesque suburb of Houston. The trees are a perfect filter and backdrop for beautiful images and dreamy light.
