There are a few senior photo ideas that are really popular right now. It seems that a lot of photographers are posting content with these and I have had several clients bring them to their sessions. What is it? FLOWERS!!!
Flowers are such a great “accessory” to add to your senior session. They can bring a pop of color to a beautiful white dress. Or they can make for something to help me frame a photo in an interesting way. Flowers are so fun and I am always excited to see them come out during a session. And you know what? They give you something to do with your hands. (People worry about this way too much. Trust me, I will tell you what to do with them. It literally my job to help with with this.)
I always recommend that the flowers be real. They just look better. And trust me, most of the time you CAN tell in the photo that they are fake. So head over to the HEB, Whole Foods, and make a bouquet. You do not need to go crazy and spend a ton of money. It can be something simple tied with a ribbon or you can add a little variety and make it elaborate. It is really up to you.
Another way to go is to call a florist and have them make one for you. A local favorite to The Woodlands is Piney Rose Flowers and Decor. They can work some magic with their flowers. And while you are there you can shop some of the very cute stuff they have there.
So now you have a hot tip for your senior photo ideas.
But be warned. I might take your bouquet apart. Sometimes I just want to use one flower. Or maybe just one kind of a flower. So if you do not want me to mess with the flowers, let me know. Otherwise, I might me taking it apart and creating different looks with the flowers you bring.
