Outdoor Locations for Senior Pictures
The Woodlands is a great place for photography. We have so many different possibilities and the right spot is waiting for you. Katelyn wanted to have different looks and she didn’t want to drive all over the place. She wanted something that was not “natural” and more of a hardscape type of location. But she also wanted a field with some tall grass. Well, we were able to find the perfect spot and the two locations were less than 5 minutes away from each other.
The AMC movie theater and garage made for a great spot for us to start our session. There are several interesting areas that work great for photos.
Right behind the shopping area there are some fields that had a little pond and some tall grasses. We finished the session there. The sun was setting and the light was PERFECTION!!!
What to Wear for Senior Photos
Katelyn didn’t really need my help with selecting what to wear for her outdoor senior pictures in The Woodlands. She has a very established style and knew what she wanted to wear. She did bring several outfits to her session and together we decided what outfits to were in the different locations.
The biggest thing I can tell my seniors when selecting their outfits is to find clothes that they feel good in. If you feel good you will look good. You will be more confident and therefor will have a great time taking photos. And when you need a little inspiration there is always Pinterest to help you along.
Taking Senior Photos and Editing Them
To say that I LOVE taking senior photos is an understatement. I have so much fun with all my seniors. They usually start really shy and then they come into themselves and their personality shines.
As time goes by during the session I can see that they are trusting me more. The more they trust me the better the pictures will turn up. They have to know that I will not make them look stupid and that what I want the most is to take the best pictures possible. Even when I have a crazy idea and bring blue cellophane to take some artsy photos.
