The beginning of the year brings a lot of senior year pictures. School starts and moms (and teens) want to remember all the special moments that senior year brings with it. And what better way than with pictures?

Senior Pictures in the Summer
Living in Houston sometimes can feel like summer last forever. For this reason a lot of seniors want to wait and take pictures in the fall/spring. Well, summer pictures are not as bad as you might expect. Yes, it can get hot. Yes, it can get muggy. But man do days go on for ever. It allows me to schedule the session a bit later than normal. That means that the session won’t take up your whole day. You can do something in the morning, then do hair and makeup and still have time for the session. The long days of summer are a real plus!
If you are thinking of taking senior pictures don’t sleep on summer. Besides, we could wait until October and it would still be super hot around here. I think mother nature doesn’t know when we have been fully cooked. Summer last forever here!!!
