CAPTURING SENIORS AND FAMILIES
IN THE WOODLANDS AND SURROUNDING AREA
First thing’s first
I’M A BOY MOM
Which means I know exactly how much they can drag their feet about photos. So when I say I can get anyone comfortable in front of the camera, that comes from real experience. (I see you, other boy moms, begging and bribing your kids to get in the photo with you.)
But can I tell you a secret? I actually love working with the shy kids … the kids who want to be anywhere else but in front of the camera. There’s something so special about helping them slowly open up and show me their personalities. Because, after all, the very best photos show who you are, not just how you smile. (And I work to make sure we capture both.)
Okay, okay, boy mom here, but I also L O V E senior sessions with girls who are all about the looks and the chance to play model for the afternoon. You know I love gushing over their outfits and accessories!
It all started
WITH A FIRST COMMUNION
No, really. I watched my dad and grandfather use their big, fancy cameras to take photos of my sister’s First Communion and was hooked. I fell in love with the idea of capturing history in a single frame. My mom got me my first camera at 16, and I’ve never been without a camera since (and yes, I definitely count my iPhone as a camera).
Today, I’m still capturing history.
Whether we’re celebrating your graduating senior, your growing toddler, or even your professional life, I build my photo sessions around documenting this moment in your life. My number one goal for all my Maria Snider Photography clients is that they’ll be able to look at their images and remember what that slice of time felt like.

“GORGEOUS!!!! We had a blast too! We were both so stressed beforehand, but ended up having a great time! I am seriously in awe over these pictures! You are so talented, and I could not be happier!”

Missing the mountains of my native Guatemala (while loving our long-time home in The Woodlands) |
Collecting too many (pssh, no such thing) lipsticks, balms and glosses all in the same pinky mauve color |
Always scouting for new locations for the perfect photo session with my seniors or families |
Grabbing a Dr. Pepper and snacking on McDonald’s fries (because, come on, that’s a delicious combo) |
Switching between a spy thriller or a fun rom-com when it’s my turn to pick the next show |
