For reals?
Yes, definitely for real. Here’s how …
Senior Year. It’s the one you’ve been working toward for the last twelve years of school. I mean, just finally saying I’m a senior. That’s huge! Not just for you, but for your parents too (hi, Moms—I’ve been where you are and can share some tips on waterproof mascara).
Your senior portraits are a celebration of all you’ve achieved and a chance to mark this milestone. You’re officially an adult! (Don’t worry, Mom can still help with the laundry.) Take a second to breathe it in, celebrate it, and L O V E this amazing slice of your life. In the words of Elle Woods, “We did it.”
And that right there is why I, as The Woodlands senior photographer, love carving out time for your senior portrait session. Let’s celebrate it!
Here’s what I want you to do:
Feel happy and beautiful
Yup, that’s it. Leave the rest to me.
“I contacted Maria Snider to take senior pictures for my son (2016) and my daughter (2019). Maria is open to suggestions for locations, props, and outfit changes. Her work is unique to the subject and is not cookie cutter. I would recommend Maria to others and look forward to next year when my last child needs his senior pictures taken.”
Trish S.
And that’s okay! I never expect my seniors to come waltzing in like professional models. But I hope, with my years of expertise and guidance, you’ll leave feeling like one. I’ll talk you through everything, help you find poses with easy prompts, and listen to what you want too. No matter if you’ve come with three outfits, a brand new manicure, and a blowout or one outfit and some nerves, we’ll work together to make your session a whole lot of fun and a celebration of Y O U.
How many times does this happen: the night before a big event, you feel a pimple brewing? It happens. But it doesn’t need to be captured for all eternity. My editing philosophy is to always strive for true-to-life colors and a timeless quality that enhances your natural beauty, but I also do subtle retouching so you can feel absolutely confident during your session.
Every senior session is customized to you. You can be sure this isn’t a rinse-and-repeat sort of photo session, but one that has been tailored to your interests, the season, and your vibe. Here’s what to expect during your The Woodlands senior photography session…
After we pick a date, I’ll share location recommendations based on what (or where) you’re hoping for. I cover The Woodlands all the way to Houston, so we can pick anything from a vibrant, urban setting to the waterway or woods. It’s your choice!
I’m here to help you pick outfits, accessories and more! I’ve got tips on ways to add versatility to your outfits for more looks and even local recs on hair and make-up artists too! Your senior portraits aren’t just an amazing way to remember this time, but so many of my past seniors go on to use their portraits during rush when they start college.
Your photo session is all about making you feel confident and beautiful or handsome with a mix of easy poses and relaxed candids. Know that, every step of the way, I’m all about making the entire experience tailored to you. And bonus, if Mom or Dad are with you for the session, we can grab a sweet photo of them and their baby (with tissues on hand for when they get a little misty).
After your session, I’ll get right to work carefully hand-editing your images to enhance the true colors and create timeless portraits — fadish filters just aren’t for me, and I think in 20 years you’ll thank me for that. All your images will be delivered in a secure online gallery two weeks after your session with print releases and easy downloading.
Bonus! Most of my sessions come with an included mini-session wearing your cap and gown! These are quick with a fast turn-around and a fantastic way to celebrate the end of senior year! Check out the PRICING PAGE to learn more.

Nice work! You’ve done all the required reading, now there’s just one more assignment and hopefully it’s an easy one! Let’s coordinate calendars (which could mean some math, sorry) and get your session on my books.
